In the early summer of 2006 we went to the beautiful medieval city of Prague.

Prague has not been destroyed since the middle ages. It is densely filled with great monuments, treasures and myths and tales that go way back.

I visited the city just after the iron curtain went down. It was a world of difference to see the city again. Gone were the black buildings and intense rubber smell. But in came the steep prices and hordes of tourists. Luckily the city kept much of its charm though.
