The Southern Coastline of Faial

We are enjoying the gentle breeze here on the south coast of Faial while the day comes to an end.
The view down from the edge of the rock is a bit unnerving, but apart from that the view is nice.

The rocks shows what effect the battering ocean has to them. Caves and tunnels are constantly formed. The waves rushing in on the shore walls can be quite spectacular. But not today. Today everything is calm, gentle and very enjoyable, and I'm not complainting..
